The 2024-25 school year is just around the corner (it starts on August 8th!) and many local children need your help to be prepared.
Through our Back 2 School project, you can make a difference! We’re collecting new school supplies and monetary donations to benefit students in need at Atkinson, King, Frayser, Rutherford, Semple and West End elementary schools.
These schools have a high number of students who rely on free or reduced lunch programs. We’ve partnered directly with their Family Resource Centers to ensure all donations reach the students and families who need them most. Everything you contribute will be split evenly between the schools.
Here’s how you can help:
Drop off new school supplies: Bring them to the Louisville Bar Center (600 W. Main St., Ste. 110) by Wednesday, August 14th.
Send a tax-deductible check: Make checks payable to the Louisville Bar Center and mail to 600 W. Main St., Ste. 110, Louisville, KY 40202.
Make an online donation: Click below to donate securely online or view our Amazon Wishlist for specific items needed.
“The individual snacks have been used for students in the afternoons who possibly didn’t eat enough lunch or are just hungry and need an afternoon pick-me-up. We have also made good use of them with students who are at school late. We have several buses that don’t get to us until well after dismissal.. I honestly can’t thank you enough for being willing to steer away from traditional supplies and address our real needs.”
