Is there a cost to working with Talis Group?
No. There is no cost to you. We work on behalf of the hiring company to find qualified job seekers for their openings.
What is the job placement process?
We collaborate with our clients daily to help fill their open positions. If your skills, interests and salary requirements align with the roles we’re recruiting for, we’ll invite you to participate in our screening process. This includes a comprehensive interview and, if applicable, skills testing. This process allows us to match you more effectively with our client companies. If a client expresses interest in your profile, we will arrange an interview at their location.
Will my resume be sent to employers without my knowledge or consent?
No, we will maintain open communication with you and seek your approval before submitting your resume to our clients. If you are unemployed, we may agree to inform you after your resume is submitted to help streamline the hiring process. However, we still prefer to check with you first to confirm that you’re interested in the position, the salary, location and hours before forwarding your resume.
What is the cost of your services?
Talis Group charges a 15% fee on the starting annual salary for Legal Support candidates, defined as Legal Secretaries, Paralegals, Receptionists and Accounting Clerical positions.
Talis Group charges a 20% fee on the starting annual salary for Attorney hires and higher-level Accounting positions.
Each hire includes a 90-day replacement guarantee should the hire not work out, as long as fees are paid according to terms. See our Fee Agreement for details.
What steps does Talis Group take before forwarding resumes to me for review
Talis Group will have already interviewed the candidate, conducted skill testing (if applicable), matched their qualifications to your position, and typically completed reference checks before sending the resume to you. (In some cases, references may need to be checked later in the process due to confidentiality.) We ensure your time isn’t wasted by eliminating candidates who lack interest in the position, do not meet the required skills, or have unfavorable references. This is the core value of our service—providing you with thoroughly prequalified candidates, saving you time and effort.
